Dr. Pillsbury was also the one who introduced Dr. Garrett to the Triological Society as a resident, then introduced her to other chairpersons and leaders in the society and the specialty in general. “I try to do the same thing for people that I’m mentoring and sponsoring,” she said. “That’s the great thing about sponsorship—paying it forward.”
