In the spirit of change and progress, we have formed valuable partnerships with the Society of University Otolaryngologists and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery to create a sustainable and inclusive pathway for the future of our field. Recognizing the importance of broadening access to otolaryngology, we are committed to reaching high school, undergraduate, and early medical school students through skills labs and immersion programs designed to spark early interest. Moreover, ongoing mentorship, allyship, and sponsorship will be key to the success of this endeavor.
As we embark on this mission in a challenging political climate, we firmly believe that our actions—not just our words—can drive meaningful change in healthcare and improve outcomes for all communities. To make this vision a reality, we seek volunteers to support this initiative in various capacities. If you are interested in being a mentor or have opportunities for away rotations at your institution or practice, we encourage you to step forward. Additionally, your support would be invaluable if you have industry connections that can provide equipment for skills labs.
This is significant work, and we are deeply grateful for the support we have received thus far. The future of the Triological Society is bright, with expanding opportunities for involvement, professional growth, and mentorship. Together, we can continue to build a dynamic and inclusive community that fosters excellence in otolaryngology for generations to come.
