Drugs, Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery As Remedies for Chronic Rhinosinusitis

What can patients with significant sinus disease (i.e., polyposis) expect from such a well-considered management strategy? “I tell them that a year out, they will feel better but still be on lots of medications,” Dr. Kennedy said. “Typically at two years out, I tell them that they should have their best year ever in terms of symptom control. Three years out, they’re going to tell me that this treatment regimen has ‘changed my life.’”—DB
